How the calculation works
Bars each direction = (width × 12 ÷ spacing) + 1 and (length × 12 ÷ spacing) + 1. Total linear feet = bars × opposite dimension. Pieces = total ÷ rebar length.
Example: 20 × 30 ft slab, 18 in spacing, 20 ft bars: ~42 pieces.
